CENTER LIFE FOR 14 DISABLED RESIDENTS

The home is built for 14 permanent residents, between 18 to 80 years old and 1 emergency reception bed room.

The ground floor building is part of an old property, previously used by a company, on a field with an important slope, which allowed building an open basement.

The construction is organised as an L, with 2 accommodations wings linked by common premises in the centre; dining room, living room, activity leaders ‘room, executive office.

The big terrace covered by the 2 accommodation wings opens up under a big oak, already present on the parcel before the construction. The constructive principle associates concrete as a base and as paving and wooden structure and wooden façades.

The building is equipped with solar panels providing hot water for a green roof.

With a simple architecture, integrated to the neighborhood, the building presents façades with coloured laminated panels and natural wood cladding.
